Congratulations NG! Today we celebrate a historic moment in time, as some 20 years ago, a handsome man known as Tom Fulp got on the internet, and made it his life mission to create the biggest source of hentai the world has ever seen! He created a website known as Newgrounds dot com; the very website you are visiting today.

A huge collab was scheduled for release today, but it will have to wait, unfortunately. We're still looking for people willing to animate to a 15-second animation to a piece of music. Each music segment is part of a soundtrack made by 24 different musicians from the audioportal. It is a soundtrack specifically made for this project; to tell the history of Newgrounds through animation. That means each part revolves around a specific "era" of the website. Right now there's only 2 parts left to choose:

Oh wait, that was you? Yeah, that's the thing I was talking about. I didn't realize it was you who did that part. I heard about it, yeah! The editor had a lot of trouble trying to make it fit in with the rest, but he made it all fit in the end. It's a nice little intermezzo. I really like how it builds up towards the ending from there.

lol, how unfortunate. The story will be featured in a flash collab that hosts content from all portals and beyond: Games, Animation, Art, Music, Writing and Voice Acting. The quiz minigame can only be beaten if people take their time to read the story. We made that game pretty hard! People will actually have to go on a treasurehunt around the project if they want to beat all the minigames for a 100 points medal :)

Sure takes a lot of hours to make a collab, let alone one this big and complex. How's the actionscript going, any serious hiccups? Anyway, I've got the utmost respect for your efforts in this, and sure hope this gets pinned to the FP for many, many months!

Final stages! TharosTheDragon is preparing the menu right now. He'll send the thing to me once he's done and then I have to compile all the movies. The only hicups so far were things I coded before sending them off. I'm not too great a programmer so I write things that are prone to result in faulty scripts. So yeah, Tharos is cleaning up my mess. I've never tried exporting a project of these proportions before so I hope I don't run into any trouble. I've read up on Adobe's guide for limitations of the software, and it seems I'm in the clear. I built a new computer while working on this thing (early July I think?) so I think my specs will be able to handle this. Still, fingers crossed!

Once I'm done with all this, I will probably write a blog about the work process, problems I ran into, etc. My collection of crossed out to-do lists is quite impressive too, heh. Right now I'm thinking of questions and answers for the quiz game. All of them will be about the story you guys wrote. For those who took time reading the book module it should be pretty easy to beat ;)

You might be able to go back to the working thread of the story, and ask the writers for questions and answers via PM (so there's no cheating)... it's good to get a different perspective on such things, especially since the story gets kinda loopy at times.

I don't think I'm doing too well. There's still a lot to pack away, get rid of, or otherwise sell/give away. After I've left, there's a lot of paperwork and other ambiguous things to deal with :p not least of which is getting the money from the farm sale, which I haven't received in full yet.

True. I'd much rather ignore those loopholes and focus my questions on other parts of the story. I don't think PMing the authors is going to be such a good idea. You never know how long it takes for people to respond. Heh, I'm a bit woozy. I wish I hadn't pulled an all nighter but yeah, couldn't sleep. Anyway, the quiz won't tell people which answer they got wrong, so reading is absolutely necessary to finish it. Here's an example question:

"How does the gang clear a path to the reactor tower?"
A. By firing an energy blast.
B. They drive a tank through the horde.
C. A dragon kills their enemies.
D. M-Bot bans all who oppose them.
E. Poisonous gas.

I'm sorry to hear about that stuff man, have you found a place to stay yet? Also how did everything go with that laptop of yours? Last thing I heard was something about 200 updates? I see you're online so I guess something must have worked out right. This period sounds like a painful thing to endure, I hope you can put it behind you soon ):

I managed to beat the old 2-core laptop into shape, enough to where I can use it on the road... gonna miss using my desktop PC for a while, and all that GTA V online goodness!

Hopefully real life will keep me engaged enough to improve my situation. Just hope the airbnb thing works out in the interim, still need to verify my account and buy a cellphone to tie it to, since I don't have a facetube account or anything like that.

Also be sure to upload a clear picture of your face and a picture with proof of documentation, like a drivers license. Then you should be good to go. Info will be stored anonymously of course. When uploading this sort of personal information, the site will put a stamp of approval on your profile, telling other users you're a trustworthy individual.

Because I smoke, I worry that the smell on my clothes might be enough to make me almost unworthy of the whole Airbnb thing. I'll still try tonight, reach out to at least one person O_o but I hope to talk to Tom first, maybe he knows where I can flop and pay... I keep hearing the Sleepycabin house is big, you know? Plus if I love a place, I'll clean as I go ;)
