Some time ago when I was working on a horrorposter for a photoshop contest. I remember this was some time ago, when I got my new computer probably so that must be around August last year I think. While looking for examples of horror movie posters I found a page from a horror manga named Uzumaki, I saved it in my favourites but never got to reading it. But while I was in Sweden which was a week ago, I read an article about a horror manga called the drifting classroom, I was interested and started reading it right away when I got back home, but I couldn't find a volume 4 hosted on the internet(maybe because it's an old manga) and so I decided thinking of reading something else. That's when I remembered Uzumaki. The horror manga I found some time ago.

Well I finished it now and I must say it was pretty intense. Before reading this I never imagined Spirals could be this creepy(Uzumaki meaning Spiral). Beside being a horror story, it also has a psyhological twist and an intriguing plot that involves a lot of shapeshifting humans. Furthermore, like every horror story the protagonists won't be able to escape. I'm not going to spoil the whole story for anyone who wants to read it, so I just provided a few images. I'd also like to add that if I'm ever going to make another horror animation(not sure if I will. My first horror movie was inspired by Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni), it will be inspired mostly by this manga. It's disturbing as fuck =D

Funny, while writing this I did a google search and found out they turned Uzumaki into a horrorfilm. I should go watch it some time.
