When I read this I wondered if maybe the UOTD formula's been changed so that it prioritizes users based on how long they've been here, in addition to how active they are. :) Seems like with all the more users competing for these now the odds oughta be low to be the chosen ones in close conjunction after not being for so long.
But maybe it is all good luck and coincidence after all! And about time. :P
