Good job Random-storykeeper. The composition sounds a little empty at times but it's undeniably good still. I can tell a lot of work went into making this, nice melodies! The piano seems a little cookie-cutter but I do like how it helps make the song feel like a play. To be fair I'm not a big fan of the puns but I can appreciate the fact that you're trying to tell a story. The voice acting is good and I like the character interaction. It all feels like a live performance to me and that's pretty nice. I'm not a big fan of the mix however. The vocals get a little overwhelming, audibly compressing the rest of the song. The vocals also sound like they were recorded with different microphones because they're mixed a little differently and it would have been nice if you played with the panning on both characters. The 8-bit synths were a nice addition to the song, somewhat odd for this setting but for some reason it all worked out.

Pretty good stuff IIAydinIIJewelz123II. The British accent does this song a world of good! If there's anything to criticize it would be the chorus. Not only is the asynchronous singing in ensemble with that wet synth a little wonky, but the lyrics are painfully simplistic. So much so that it ruins all the jokes for me. A shame that is, because I really like how much work went into the verses. The bass also stops playing during the chorus, making it sound like something's missing. The mix and instrumentation are pretty good. The drums and sfx are nice too and I love the arpeggiated bassline. I can tell a lot of work went into this and I think this could be a fantastic song if not for those few details.

Appreciate the feedback dude! The verses did turn out suprisingly well but the chorus just felt so far out of my element with the vocals, I weren't sure what to do with it. Will definitely focus more effort on the chorus for next time :)

Great stuff cheesymoo, way too short though! The lyrics are a bit ridiculous but something about your voice conveys it so naturally. Very nice! Good vibes and excellent drums. I can't help but feel this song could have been so much more though, especially with the introduction of more instruments as the song progresses.

Nice job dude2312! It has a nice atmosphere to it and comes really close to being a generic poprock song. Something about the flow of the lyrics felt a little empty and the chorus in general felt a little weak but there were plenty of details I enjoyed. The solos were really neat and I liked the choir during the chorus. I also liked the prose towards the end and the whispers throughout the song were a nice touch. Good stuff!

Really nice composition CzySzy, and great pick of instruments! I especially love the chords on the rhodes. Very mellow slowdance type of stuff! I love the effects on the vocals too, though I've got to say the lyrics aren't especially sappy to me. I should add that the energy of the vocals are a little jarring in a song of this composure. I'm thinking that may be caused by the autotune but I'm really not sure. It's a little sad because I feel this song could be really emotional otherwise. That being said I love the melody you've got going and that solo in between is really nice as well. Good stuff. I can't deny that it's been stuck in my head for some time now.

Wow GobBageEata. With a little bit more effort this could be a real winner in my book. The lyrics are nice and flow really well with the song. Sure, the vocals get a little monotonous at times but I still really like them in a Ramones type of way. The composition is fantastic and feels like it could be an actual rock classic. I love the raw garage rock feel to it and I can really appreciate the fact that you played every instrument in this song. I feel getting drunk may have complimented the vocals but it was (probably) detrimental to the overall performance of the song as instruments tend to skip their beat. The mix isn't too bad, though it does sound a little mono. I find myself wishing you would have spaced out panning on the instruments a little.

Hahaha thanks! yeah I wish i had more time to give it so i could've tuned it up more but life's been tossing me around like a beachball at a Nickelback concert

This song has a great feel about it. I'm a big fan of alternative time measures and this in particular was very well done! It's subtle enough not to be noticeable. Now that I think about it, that could be the rhythmic appeal of the bassline and lack of meddlesome drums doing its work. The instrumentation compliments the song a great deal. It sounds a bit synthesized but bullethells are often like that. Love the energy of this piece Troisnyx! Downloaded.

I love this short bit of monologue. It has such poetic phrasing. This is the beginning of something great!

Some of it'll be in the NG 20th Anniversary Tribute somewhere, along with a few bits of video I secretly shot. Still pretty rusty at recording and speaking :\

I think I listened to this on loop 4 hours straight. Absolutely stunning... Those graceful chords create an amazing ambience. The whole thing reminded me of Clannad, though this impresses me a lot more. The reverb is pretty damn cool on its own and does an outstanding job at complimenting your beautiful voice. This should be on frontpage if you ask me.

4 hours?! Shucks Whirl, thanks so much. You make me blush. ^-^

A Zombie Movie Soundtrack

This really sounds like a soundtrack sort of thing. I imagine an overview of zombie-filled landscapes, as a birdview rappidly scrolls over pastures and small villages, while the horns blow and the violin section screams. The percussion after that really kept me on the edge of my seat. While I was blown away by the quality of your production, so far it might aswel be the escape scene of a regular action movie. But then comes a silence before the storm... I think we're safe now, let's hav-WHAT THE FUCK!? ARGHgg! Agaagahurrm...

Man, they got me good. Those were definitely zombies! All in all this song's like a rollercoaster, these zombies can run like hell! You should see to your fellow survivors and leave no one to their fate.
